I never thought my life would turn out this good. I am amazed each day by the blessings of God. I am married to a fabulous (and good looking... if I do say so myself) man of God who is the best father to our 2 little ones.
I have always been that typical Type A personality, but being a mother has certainly mellowed me down a wee bit! I have many passions in life. I am passionate about my children and about being the best, most Godly mom possible. I am overly passionate about My Christopher and most of all I am passionate about Jesus. I want to live my life with BOLDNESS - sharing with others my beliefs in Christ and my beliefs about the world.
I like to run, workout and watch college athletics. I love the VOLS and most things "southern" (soup beans, cornbread, fried okra, vinegar coleslaw, sweet tea & lemonade).
I am not perfect, but I am pleased to say that the Lord is working and refining me everyday!
I met my husband in youth group at church. We started seeing one another (whatever that means) the summer before my senior year of high school. I was reluctant and he was persistent. 2 1/2 years later he proposed on the alter of our church on New Years Day. 7 months later we were married and now here we are almost 8 years later with 2 babies! Chris is quiet and usually finds humor in every situation. He's my voice of reason and my best friend. He's a wonderful father and he loves the Lord. He has a missionary heart and I cannot wait to see what all the Lord is going to do with his life!
I never knew love like this existed until Colton came into this world. 39 weeks and 1 day followed by about 30 hours of labor Colton made his arrival at 12:41am Wednesday June 4th, 2008. Since then our lives have never been the same! The Lord has used this small vessel to refine me in areas I didn't know existed. I am so humbled by the fact that the Lord chose me to be his mother. I always pictured myself working in corporate America, but I know now the Lord has called me to be a stay at home mom and it is there that I find such joy!
Oh Anna Claire! I thought for sure that she was going to be another boy, but I was so wrong! We were so delighted to welcome her into this world at 9:32pm on Wednesday May 19th, 2010 after only a few hours of labor. We are excited to see Claire's personality develop and watch her and Colton grow together.
Beckham Christopher you have taken my breath away. My little dark hair, dark eyed little man. You remind me so much of your daddy which may be why I have fallen in love so hard! You were a big surprise, but have been the biggest blessing to our family!
